"I have had the pleasure of working with Jan on several different family portraits. For our anniversary she photographed my entire family, including our two pet dogs. Jan made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, including the pups. She exhibited patience, creativity, and genuinely cared about the finished portrait. After my granddaughter was born, Jan was the only photographer I trusted to create the perfect baby photos for her birthday. I have received nothing but compliments from friends that have seen the finished photos framed in my home. I highly recommend Weld Photography. "I coordinated with Jan to have a photo shoot with 6 of my girl friends and me to commemorate our long standing friendship.Jan was fantastic! She suggested that we bring 3 changes of outfits, try to avoid prints, and stick with a color theme. Her suggestions were fantastic! We had three themed outfit changes. Jan was exceptional with her skills in arranging us and made the entire experience fun.The pictures turned out fantastic! Jan's skill in lighting and photoshopping were will were the investment to commemorate our friendship for a lifetime."

"Jan was so much fun to work with during our photo shoot. My girlfriends and I booked a photo shoot to commemorate our long friendship: we had three different outfits and just had a blast looking at the photos together after each "wardrobe change". The best part was Jan's creative improvisation: she snapped a picture of us laughing together as we were setting-up and it is a priceless snapshot in time. Thank you Jan!"

"I am leaving a short and long review. Both are great reviews, but for those not looking for all the details I left a shorter review.Short Review:Jan was great! My pictures turned out perfectly and not only was she very professional, she was very easy to work with. Should I need more pictures in the future I will be reaching out to Jan. I highly recommend her services.Long Review:I decided for my mother's birthday to get a family photo and photo of her and her beloved dog, Snickers. I am near Arlington Heights and wanted to find a photographer close by.Jan came up among a list of about 7 different photographers. Only Jan responded in a timely manner (most are just now contacting me, despite me reaching out to them asking to do a shoot in early November). I further checked Jan's website and was very happy with her pictures.We worked out a day and when it came the experience was very simple. She was great with the dog too. It is clear she has a lot of experience at this, both photographing people and animals.There was never any feeling of rush and she truly seemed to care about capturing the images I had in my mind.Best of all, my mother loves the pictures!All said and done, it was a great experience and the prices are well justified by the experience and photographs I ended up with.I highly recommend Jan Weld Photography"
